When I was in Grade 1 and learning about numbers, our homework was to bring in a collection of 100 items. Kids brought in pebbles, pennies, crayons. To my teacher’s amazement, I brought in my collection of lip glosses. Yes — I had 100 of them. Fashion, style and makeup can turn an ordinary day into something memorable.
